What to know about marketing materials.
These planning notes explain common print choices. Confirm the materials, dimensions and finishing available for your job with the shop.
What this category covers, and where the detail pages are
Marketing materials is the umbrella: everything printed to be handed out, mailed, pinned up or left on a counter. Several formats inside it now have their own pages, because they are specific enough to deserve one.
Folded and hand-out formats live on flyers and brochures. Wall-sized output is on posters and canvas. Cards are on business card printing. Anything hemmed, staked or mounted is on banners and signs.
Quoting a campaign as one job
A single campaign brief makes it easier to compare the formats, paper choices and quantities as a set. Identify shared artwork and any colours that must be reviewed across materials, then agree the production and handover plan with the shop.
Tell us the whole list up front, including quantities and the date each piece has to be in hand, even where the dates differ. It is easier to schedule around a staggered set than to re-plan mid-run.
Related print work
Campaign print often travels with other categories. Job paperwork, order books and numbered multi-part sets are on the business form printing page. Wide-format output on roll and rigid substrates is quoted through large format printing.
If the campaign is built around a trade show, quote it with the booth: convention printing covers exhibitor graphics, badges and show handouts.
